nuvvu vastavani..

We usually don't send Pranav to daycare on satday as it is off for me and my husband..same is the case last satday also..My husband has been to Blore for the past 10 days and he came back on satday..
He asked Pranav - "enti ivvala school ki vellaledu?"
Pat came the reply - "nuvvu vastavani"...
GOD !! veedu ela nerchukuntunnadu inni maatalu ??

nenu ammayilaa vundanu...

Pranav ki chinnappudu langa vesi konni snaps tesaamu..whenever I show those pics to him, vaadu chaala vudukkuntaadu..and he says - "amma, nenu ammayi laa vundanu..nenu abbayi laane vuntaanu"...
manam 'sare' anedaaka inka oorukodu..

amma.nee dress bagundi...

It was a usual monday morning...I'm almost ready to go to office...Pranav just completed his bath and he is also getting ready for his play school.. today I wore a new kurtha...Pranav looked at me and said - "amma, nee dress bagundi..."
come on, he is just 2 yrs 10 months old and I was shocked to hear that from him...anyway I was overwhelmed with joy... The women inside me wants to listen to such words whenever I wear something new and my DH never says such words to me... Thanks Pranav for brightening my day..

nenu peddappudu vellaanu...

We were flipping a book that has famous Indian monuments, there came the picture of 'Taj mahal'. I told him - "Pranav, nanna TajMahal vellaru chinnappudu"...with a doubtful expression on his face, he says "amma, idhi tea podi meeda vuntadi..nanna vellaara?" (He is referring to TajMahal brand tea powder)..
I said - "yes"...

After a few pages, there came the picture of "Mysore Palace"..I have been there in my childhood..I told him - "Pranav, nenu chinnappudu ee palace ki vellaanu"....
He just nodded his head and was seriously looking at the pictures..

Next came the picture of 'Qutub Minar'...Immediately he said - "amma, nenu peddappudu ikkadiki vellaanu.." (he has never been there...kaani memu chinnappudu vellaamu ane sariki, vadiki em cheyyalo teliyaka !!)

helicopter fan..

Yesterday night, I sat by the side of Pranav while he was flipping his pictures book..there came the picture of a helicopter....he stopped at that page and was looking at it, thought for a while, turned towards me and asked - "amma, helicopter payina vunde fan tirugutunda?"
I said - "tirugutundi nanna"..
Pranav says - "amma, denni tippu aithe"
what ?? book lo helicopter fan ni tippalaa ??

My mil is suffering from heel cracks and she told the same to pranav..
Casually he said "nanamma, kaalu teesi sink lo veseyyi..nenu shop ki velli kotta kaalu testa"..
we laughed like anything...after some time, I asked if we can get hands as well in shop..
he says "amma, chetuku pagalavu kada..anduke chetulu ammaru shop lo"...veedi vedhava thelivitetalu veedu..

chicken biryani...

Last satday, we've been to Chutneys- a veg restaurant in hyd..I told I'll have dosa, mil said she will have poori, DH wants to have pesarattu...and then I turned to pranav and asked him what he would like to have. Pat came the reply - "Chicken Biryani..."...
